NICOLE GREGORY
MCouns, GradCertEd, Lead, BEd, DipEd, MACEL
Nicole Gregory is ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ’s fourth Principal, having joined the College in 2020. As our Principal, Nicole is committed to continuing ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ’s journey of growth and delivering dynamic and rich programs designed to enliven creativity and curiosity while empowering learners to face challenge, build resilience and grow in integrity as they engage in a global world now and into the future. Nicole believes that to know who we are as an organisation is reliant on knowing the sum of all our parts and the strength and possibilities they bring. Each individual no matter how young or old, irrespective of gender or faith, has experiences, gifts and talents (some yet undiscovered), to share with our community.
ANNA DORÉ
MEd, BA, BEd
As Deputy Principal - People and Culture of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ, Anna Doré is responsible for the seamless running of the College, the professional development of staff, student and staff wellbeing, the connections between the College and local partners and the continuing development and sustainability of the strong community that The Lakes College is renowned for. Keeping each and every student at the heart of all that is done at the College is also one of Anna's strengths. She works closely with the parents and carers of the College to ensure that there is a strong link between the school, the students and the family. Anna joined the College as the Deputy Principal - People and Culture at the commencement of 2023.

MATHEW STEIN
MEd, BComm, BEd, MACEL
Mathew has worked in education for 22 years, in a range of pastoral and academic roles, and is dedicated to enhancing outcomes for young people, building the professional capacity of staff, and nurturing the rich and dynamic TLC community.
Mathew joined ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ community in 2020 as Head of Secondary. During his time at the College, Mathew continued to nourish the strong academic culture and dedicated pastoral care practices that define teaching and learning within the College. Mathew transitioned to Deputy Principal responsible for Curriculum, Professional Practices and Transformation, with his school wide focus on supporting staff to foster and develop TLC students who engage in their learning with curiosity, character and connection.

KATE HANDS
MBA, MPAcc, CPA, MAICD, BNurs
Kate joined ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ in 2021 and is a passionate supporter of empowering vulnerable young people. Kate started her professional career in the healthcare industry specialising in adolescent health before pivoting into the corporate and finance sectors. As a past member of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Board, Kate is heavily invested in the ongoing success and growth of the College, guiding the stewardship of those resources entrusted to the College.

MADONNA POTTER
Madonna is an authentic and audacious leader with over 23 years of experience in education, across three sectors, Education Queensland, Catholic Education, and Independent Schooling, in a range of pastoral and academic roles. Madonna joined our TLC community in 2019 as Deputy Head of Secondary, and in 2023 she has stepped into the role of Head of Secondary. As Head of Secondary, Madonna provides a pivotal role in the holistic wellbeing and development of each student in Years 7-12 and is responsible for driving strategic change and innovation in the College’s Wellbeing Program, Find Your North. She is also dedicated to implementing Restorative Justice processes to ensure young people develop their emotional literacy and their ability to navigate conflict through respectful conversations. Madonna works closely with our Wellbeing Team to nurture a network of care that prioritises and supports the wellbeing and pastoral care of every student in the Secondary School, creating a safe and supportive environment for our young people to flourish. She is passionate about working with young adults and believes it is a privilege to support them through this vulnerable period of identity formation. Madonna is dedicated to enhancing life chances and outcomes for young people, building the professional capacity of staff and nurturing the rich and dynamic TLC community.

KATERINA TILLEY
MHist, BEd, GradCertEdCI
Katerina is responsible for the operations of the Primary School, including curriculum, teaching and learning, reporting, parent engagement and student connections, wellbeing and behaviour. Katerina is an educational leader and teacher with 18 years of leadership experience and expertise across both Primary and Secondary settings. The breadth of Katerina’s experience working in the Australian Curriculum is outstanding and the depth of her ability to bring learning to life in a way that meets the educational and developmental needs of young people is exceptional. In her own words Katerina strives, “to promote a dynamic and adaptive learning environment that seeks to liberate the individual through the empowering service of education.â€

TIM MCMENAMIN
Tim joined the College in 2023 as the Director of Mission to take a spiritual lead by supporting members of the College community as they explore and develop the spiritual dimension of their lives. For the past 28 years Tim has passionately pursued what it means to be a follower of Christ and at the same time be a community facing church leader – posture, calling and vocation. Tim is mission focused and comes to the College in the endeavour of enabling healthy leadership and culture within our church and care environments.
The Uniting Church in Australia Property Trust (Q.) represented by ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ has established a College Board responsible for effective governance of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ.
The educational philosophy of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Board focuses on the whole child – intellectual, cultural, physical, social and spiritual and strives to develop the good, the true and the beautiful in every child. A balanced approach to education through quality curricular and extra-curricular programs provides opportunities for young people to grow to their full potential.
We strive to achieve this philosophy within a supportive Christian community with a strong values base and effective pastoral care structures and programs. The marks of the Christian mission of the Uniting Church underpin our Philosophy and all that we aim to achieve.
