Congratulations to our 2022 Year 12 cohort for the commitment they have shown to their studies and the excellent results they have achieved in their (ATAR) outcomes, their senior subjects and their certificate courses. We are very proud of their accomplishments and the mature learning habits underpinning them.
As always, we are delighted to share with you a snapshot summary of our 2022 Year 12 student outcomes. Our students are to be congratulated for the commitment they have shown to their studies and the excellent results they have achieved in their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) outcomes, their senior subjects and their certificate courses. We are proud of their accomplishments and the mature learning habits underpinning them. Our sincerest congratulations go to our Year 12 students for their outstanding results:
- 3% of our eligible students achieved an ATAR of 99 and above, an outstanding accomplishment placing them in the top 1% of the state
- 15% achieved an ATAR of 95 or above, placing them in the top 5% of the state
- 48% scored an ATAR of 90 and above, placing them in the top 10% of the state
- The median ATAR for our students was 88.35
In addition, our sincere congratulations are extended to the three students who achieved A grades in all six of their general subjects. These students will be awarded a Certificate of Academic Commendation by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) in January. Once again, these results place ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ among the top-performing academic schools in Queensland and are a credit to the hard work and steadfast commitment of our graduating class.
±¬×ߺÚÁÏ would also like to acknowledge and congratulate the 19 students from our Year 12 cohort who secured an early offer for their first preference course at university. The institutions our students received these early offers from include QUT, Griffith University, ACU, USC and JMC.
Every single one of our graduates leaves ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ with a qualification. First and foremost, 100% of our senior cohort secured a QCE. Furthermore, 53% of the students in our cohort completed Certificate I, II, III or IV courses – for many, these qualifications were secured in addition to their ATAR. Finally, 28% graduated with more than one VET qualification in diverse fields such as Crime and Justice, Health Services, Fitness, Business, Furniture Making, Hospitality, and Electrotechnology, highlighting the wide range of pathway opportunities available to students at our College.
We would like to acknowledge our important partnership with parents and carers and thank you for the invaluable role you have played in supporting your children through their years of schooling. Also, our sincere gratitude is extended to the dedicated teaching staff who have educated, inspired, engaged and challenged our graduating class to achieve their best throughout their TLC journey. Notwithstanding their commendable academic results, it is also important to recognise the many competencies and qualities of our Class of 2022 that are not measured by a number. We thank our graduating cohort for their contributions and leadership during their time at the College. As this formative chapter of their lives ends, we wish them well knowing that their time at ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ has instilled in them the faith, knowledge, skills and confidence to stride boldly into the future.
We wish all members of our Class of 2022 every success.
